Course Creator
Simon Brailsford
Simon delivered his first solo FMEA training course back in October 1999 - “I ran a few sessions prior to this where I was shadowed by my manager” he recalls, “but this was my first solo mission”.
On-site customer training has taken him far and wide, Japan, Korea, China, Australia, most of Europe and Scandinavia. He has delivered training both in person and over webinars, how many? “Too many to count, or hazard a guess but it’s in the hundreds.”
“The opportunity Online training offers excites me,” Simon says! “It provides us with several distinct opportunities.”
1. Global companies can now deliver the same training across all countries, it's literally the same training material, delivered to each student.
2. We can develop and update our courses online, using feedback from our users.
3. Expiration, the amount of information a student can retain after training is dependent on how quickly they can apply what they’ve learnt afterwards, online training can significantly reduce if not eliminate knowledge degradation.
4. Forever Green - onsite training provides a snap-shot of information as of a certain date and time, future software enhancements and methodology changes can create the need for re-training, where as our evergreen online courses provide access to the latest course material.
